Account Deletion
How to delete your Luna Sky account and its data, what gets deleted, and what we have to keep.
Last updated: 6 September 2026 · Effective from that date · Luna Sky LLC
To delete your Luna Sky account and its data, email contact@12lunasky.com with the subject line “Account deletion”, or use Settings → Account → Delete account inside the app.
This page is public. You do not need an account to read it or to send a request. Developer: Luna Sky LLC. Applications: Luna Sky.
1. Delete from inside the app
Open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. We may ask you to confirm your identity — for example with a code sent to the email address already on the account — and nothing more. Your account is closed immediately from your side, and the underlying records are removed within 30 days.
2. Or request deletion here
If you have lost access to the app or to your device, email contact@12lunasky.com with the subject line Account deletion and include:
- the name of the app or service (for example, Luna Sky);
- the email address or username on the account;
- your store order number, if you have one.
Send the request from the email address on the account, or we will send a confirmation code to it before acting — of the two possible mistakes, deleting an account for someone who does not own it is by far the worse one. Beyond that we ask for nothing: no phone call, no support ticket, no reason, no charge.
We acknowledge your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
3. What gets deleted
- The account record itself, and your profile.
- Your email address, username and any contact details held with the account.
- Any date, time or place of birth you entered.
- Journal entries, saved items, preferences, progress and settings.
- Device identifiers, diagnostic and crash data linked to the account.
- Website and security log entries that can be linked to the account.
- Usage records showing which screens and content you opened.
- Support correspondence tied to the account, unless it relates to an unresolved dispute.
Deletion is permanent. Your content, progress and settings cannot be recovered afterwards.
4. What we keep, and why
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase and tax records | To meet our tax, accounting and audit obligations. These record that a purchase happened; they do not contain your profile. | Up to seven years |
| Auto-renewal consent records | Consumer-protection law requires proof that you agreed to automatic renewal. | 3 years, or 1 year after the subscription ends, whichever is longer |
| Fraud, abuse and security records | To prevent repeat abuse, in the narrowest form that serves the purpose. | Up to 24 months |
| Support correspondence relating to an unresolved dispute | To handle a complaint, chargeback or claim that is still open, and to establish or defend a legal claim. | Until the matter is resolved, then up to 12 months |
| De-identified statistics | They can no longer be linked back to you. | Indefinitely |
This table is the authoritative list of what survives a deletion request. Everything else described in section 5 of our Privacy Policy is deleted within 30 days, whatever its ordinary retention period. Nothing we retain is used to contact you or to rebuild your profile.
5. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
If you subscribed through Apple or Google, you must cancel through that store, otherwise billing continues. See our Refunds and Cancellations page. Deleting your account also does not refund a payment already made.
We recommend cancelling first, then deleting.
6. Deleting some data without closing your account
You can also ask us to delete particular information — your birth data, your journal entries, or your support history — and keep your account. Email the same address and tell us what you would like removed.
